Draw Information for Teams
Top Position teams will be awarded to all age groups 14U and above to returning Champions & Finalist (and Semif Finalists if applicable) teams who have at least 51% of their roster returning and follow all other rules.
A Double Blind Draw will be condocuted to figure out the rest of the groups which means a team will be drawn first followed by the group position that will be assigned to them or vice versa.
Qualifying (Play-In) Game Information
The Kansas Presidents Cup will have one qualifying match this Spring. That age group will be the 16U Boys division due to having 5 teams in the group. If your team is drawn into a play-in game there is a week worth of dates that KSYSA will set up for teams to play the match. Those dates are the weeks of April 11-15th, 2022 or April 18-21st, which is listed on the website under Team Info page. If these dates do not work with the teams in the game KSYSA is flexible to find a date that works for the teams involved.
In accordance with the Kansas Presidents Cup Rules (Section XXIV), the Presidents Cup Committee is making amendments to the Positions & Bracketing for in order for the divisions to be completed during the event dates and offer better competition for teams. This will be explained during the Draw for those age divisions.
Future Communications
Please note that as the event nears, communication will be given to teams about check in and roster freeze information so that you are reminded about these deadline. Please be sure to forward communications with your managers and coaches as a double check as there have been technical difficulties with a few people not receiving emails.
